    Step into your own cozy slice of paradise at the Mermaid Motel, a charming and thoughtfully designed beach bungalow perfect for two. Just a five-minute walk to the beach and a short golf cart ride to Lakewood’s waterpark and pools, this modern retreat blends comfort, creativity, and coastal vibes for the ultimate getaway.

    Inside, you’ll find upgraded appliances, multiple USB ports, a Bluetooth whole-home stereo system, and easy “tap to join” WiFi to keep you connected. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a Keurig combo coffee maker (single serve + full pot) and all the essential small appliances.

    The Mermaid Motel features a camper-size toilet and shower, designed for functionality without sacrificing style. The only thing I would ask is that they leave the slip free mat we brought for the shower. It was very slippery. My husband slipped and fell in the shower. According to the guest book he wasn’t the first person to slip in the shower. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The Mermaid was okay for what I needed- however the Bathroom was not suitable (no water pressure in shower and toilet was too cramped to be comfortable. Had to turn sideways to use. No room beside bed to get in - had to crawl in fromEnd. Bed was very creaky and loud because it sits on a wooden box. Then at end of the week - major ant and flying bug problems.We were forced to leave early as bugs invaded the sleeping area.LCR rentals were very rude about my concerns. I will not rent from them again.
