"the night before i stayed at an expedia super 8 hotel, which was a disgusting hole. the hamilton was a breath of fresh air. walking in the front door was a welcoming staff, it backed up on the same shore, the building is a little dated, but, very well maintained. the room was clean, neat, comfortable. I don't travel much, I understand most are franchises, I'll never look at another Super 8 again. Mackinac City, was a very nice experience,,,, thank you Hamilton"
"This was a wonderful family friendly hotel! My grandkids and I had a wonderful experience, room was very clean, beds were soft and cozy. Smelled a bit too much of bleach, but I’d would rather have that than something else. Carpet was stained, but otherwise great shape. Our view was Lakeside w/ balcony and we loved it! The waterpark was just as amazing as the pictures showed- a must for traveling with kids! It is right across the street from the ferry we took to Mackinaw Island.
I will definitely return next year! "
"Beautifully unique bed & breakfast with the sweetest couple running the place! He roasts his own coffee beans on site and makes the most delicious coffee to sip on the cute front porch. She is a professional baker and made the best scones I’ve ever had. Our room was clean and had so much character with a very comfortable bed. An amazing place to stay!"
