"This hotel has rooms under renovation so arriving in a middle of a bit of a mess. Room was renovated, but with very bad workmanship. No breakfast. Hopefully management will pay attention to the workmanship and details when they work ln those rooms."

"We had a pleasant stay at the Hilton Columbus Downtown. The location is excellent, in a very nice and convenient area, and the hotel itself is quite large with great amenities. While the property does feel a bit dated in some areas, and the shower had a small leak that caused some minor flooding, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. Overall, a good option if you’re looking for space, location, and solid service."

"The place was really cool. I found hairs in the bed adn when i asked to change rooms I found more hairs in the next room so I went back to my original room. Initially the place looks great but as you are in the room you start to really notice the wear and tear. Peeling wallpaper, spills, hairs, lots of dust and dust bunnies, empty complimentary candy jars, empty complimentary dog treats for the entire stay and the soap, shampoo and conditioner look like it has never been changed rinsed and refilled. Super slimy. The staff was AMAZING! I would come back and stay just because the service was top notch. The ping pong table, the outdoor setting and the nightly cookies were great. The breakfast was great and once again the service at breakfast was top notch. The people who work there love their jobs and it shows. I would return for them."

"Breakfast was good and for this to be an outdated hotel it was very clean. My issue was checkin. I waited 20 minutes because the gentleman wasn’t at the front desk for what he claimed was an emergency. Ok.. no problem there. The issue comes from no sign being up or anything that he stepped away. When he came back there was no apology just combativeness about why he was gone. Other than encountering the lack of customer service, the hotel wasn’t bad. "

"Liked that it was close to the airport and shuttle service. Breakfast was good. The room needs a severe upgrade and update. Popcorn ceiling and old furniture."

"The hotel was OK. It’s definitely outdated and has had some cheap renovations. Even something as simple as painting around the door wasn’t done with care. The elevator was broken, which we were not told when given directions upon check in to the 3rd floor. We did not use the gym, pool, breakfast or airport shuttle. The bed was very comfortable. Shower water was nice and hot. Air conditioning worked great. House keeping did not come. When calling for towels we had to go to the desk to get them ourselves. The toilet paper roll was not new upon arrival. The TV randomly stopped working. The bathroom vanity was a little dirty. But all and all not bad. Bring Clorox wipes and low expectations and you’ll be okay."
