"Mixed experience: Great dining, but management simply "doesn't care."
For a MICHELIN Key hotel, the hospitality was highly disappointing. The biggest issue was the dismissive attitude from management—when I reported the trash-filled pool and safety hazards (door stops in walkways), the manager claimed the pool area "wasn't their responsibility." This lack of accountability is unacceptable for a luxury property.
Service was unprofessional, particularly regarding elevator access. The decor also feels lower quality than expected.
On a positive note, La Fontaine was exceptional. However, I would skip the Chinese restaurant, Chyna Club. Great food doesn't justify management that refuses to take responsibility for basic cleanliness and guest safety."
