It was a good property -it was an overall clean property but the water pressure in the shower was very weak and the morning staff was not very friendly.

Great location and clean rooms!
Hotel is easily accessible from interstate. The staff was wonderful! Pleasant and professional. The room was very spacious. Decor was pleasing. Bathroom was spacious, good shower, and other than the vanity light could have been a bit brighter, a very clean bathroom. Will definitely stay here again!

Comfy bed, needs some updates
The breakfast was unusually good, with a crustless spinach quiche that was delicious. The hotel is somewhat dated, and could use some attention to details. The bathroom was dimly lit, and the whirlpool pictured on the website was filled in with cement. The staff was universally friendly and helpful.

The hot tub is filled in with cement. The whirlpool in the room only half worked. Other than that everything was amazing.

It was very comfortable, but the hot tub spa was covered with wood and not available to use and the pool was not inviting, and I will know to call first to see if the hot tub is working wherever I am going before booking.

There are quite a few restaurants within a mile or so of the property but you have to drive through a sketchy part near the hotel. The check in associate at the desk was doing the minimum he could to get people checked in and it took awhile. A group of about four men were trying to check in before us but they weren’t even ready. We’re waiting for another guy to come to the desk w payment and we had to just stand there and wait for them to get their crap together.

Rend Lake Fairfield
This is a clean, well-kept property, with a good breakfast buffet option. It is in walking distance of an acceptable restaurant. We arrived late and there was no hassle about getting our room.
