"We had a lovely stay at this property in Calahonda. It was very clean, obviously quite recently renovated and had everything we needed. Centrally located and close to the beach. While parking was not provided, we had no difficulty in finding parking spots close by."

"This is a very odd place. Sure it is an old palace but the rooms are in a basement like plant. In the bathroom the hot water took ages and the shover did not work. We were the only guests and therefore they closed the dining-room and the library and half past eight and the only way our was through the emergency door by the kitchen. It is not a recommendable hotel.The surroundings are quit e nice and the park is great, but inside it is not."

"Seit über 10 Jahren verbringen wir immer mindestens 2 Wochen pro Jahr in einem gemieteten Haus in Andalusien. Leider können wir dieses Haus nur in Sachen Lage und Aussicht empfehlen. Dieses Objekt ist sehr ungepflegt und an vielen Stellen müsste dringend renoviert werden - besonders der kleine Pool - dieser ist nur mit Farbe ausgestrichen - diese Farbe fällt jedoch überall ab. Demzufolge ist das Wasser trübe und am Beckenrand setzen Algen an - alles andere als einladend zum Baden. Im Garten...

"Highlight of our trip. Incredible location, great staff, amazing breakfast, and facilities. Wonderful sea view room with deck overlooking the beach. Lots of places to walk. Hotel staff made up two twin beds as one larger bed, which worked well. The overall atmosphere was impressive and relaxing. Everyone was so friendly. We would certainly stay again. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Balcon de Europa."
