"Dated exterior belies the modern , spacious rooms. Quiet, comfy bed, very modern bath. Two decent restaurants behind the hotel. Walkable to university. Staff would have gotten higher marks but the afternoon staff showed no interest in helping out of town football fans in for a game with early check in, storage of bags Etc"

"Rod and Carm are very nice hosts. This home is all about the view of the lake, the apartment you stay in above there home it is very nice, everything you need. Awesome view of the lake from the kitchen table eating lunch and dinner. You get great dock access right on the lake, be prepared to walk up and down some stairs to get back and forth to your stay. Bonus they have a fridge and freezer down by the dock witch is awesome. Plus Rod has Ice cream treats for you in the fridge. You will need to to walk up and down stairs on this property. Again awesome view of the lake."

"We had a wonderful and relaxing visit to the Moravia Lake House on southeast shores of Lake Owasco. The property was easy to find and very close to the small country town of Moravia (where local sundries can be picked up at the Modern Market, delectable Perry's ice cream to enjoy at the local parlour, and the Ferris Glen State Park with it's waterfalls, hikes, swimming hole, and gorgeous gorges!The house itself was an eclectic mix of boho chic and country living vibes. It has a very warm and inviting feel with a large dining table and lots of couches for lounging inside, reading, and playing games. The waterfront is down a long gravel pathway where a charming mini-dock pokes into the clear rocky bottom of the lake front. Swimming was wonderful even in early September as the water was not cold at all and very clear and clean. It was lovely to sit by the water in morning and watch the sun hit the opposite shore (house is on the eastern shore), read, and enjoy sunsets and evening bonfires in the fire pit. The property is dog-friendly and we had out pup there who loved swimming and playing on the beach and met two neighbor dogs to play with as well. The neighbors were all friendly and welcoming in this small cove community. We had some questions about accessing the TV service and kayak rentals for the host and we would have appreciated more info about those things. But otherwise we had little issues during our stay."

Owasco Lake Finger Lakes Getaway

"Place was perfect for a family of four, 2 kids 9 and 11 for a weekend! Lake is right there with a dock to use, smores by the fire pit, marina next door, super clean. Full kitchen. New appliances. Washer and dryer. Kayaks. A/C works good, good water pressure in shower(shower is small but gets you clean!). Thanks Amber!"

Lakeview Crooked Cascade Cottage on Owasco

"Erica was the best communicator. Whenever I had a question, we used texting and a few calls to answer. The description of the cottage was precise. The house was clean and amply supplied with everything for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom needs. I brought so much I never used in that all was there for us.We were concerned that one bathroom for 3 couples would be a stretch, but honestly it is so big and located on the second floor so no problems. I grew up on the lake with tiny bathrooms. This was so spacious.Loved the big kitchen and living spaces. And the deck was suburb with wonderful table and chairs. We used regular umbrellas hooked on the chair back for the lovely sun exposure in the morning. The grill was used often and greatly appreciated.Our weather was perfect so the AC was a delight. Ample to cool down the entire house. We needed a fan in the bunk room, but the nights cooled down and that was plenty. A note on the bunk, it is a tight fit for the top. Not sure if 2 twins could work.As noted, this house has many steps to maneuver. However, unless you have mobility issues, it was not a problem for anyone. It was good exercise considering the relaxed life we lead. The second floor access from outside was great for suitcases. The lower level was great for walking the pathway to the lake, though it is a bit steep to go down the outside steps. For us is was well worth it for the beautiful setting up above the lake. - Great sunrises.Bring bottled water and enjoy!!"
