"We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely family home, there was plenty of space and lots of outdoor activities. We really liked the pool however it isn’t fenced which would have been good to know in advance. There is a local vineyard, restaurant and a supermarket nearby. We would definitely recommend this large house to other groups wanting a quiet getaway. The hosts were extremely helpful and offered to help with anything we needed."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The house has a great ground level, with a warm fireplace and space to spread out. The kitchen has everything you need. We really liked how every bedroom had its own bathroom and shower. The location was perfect too- trails nearby, country feel, yet close to town. Highly recommend!!"

"Superb property, best we have stayed in (out of six). Well equipped with everything and more you will need, plenty of plates, glasses, dishware and cookware. Proper oven. Do not be put off by the appearance from the street - the property is comfortable, spacious, peaceful and homely, with wonderful garden, terrace, and seating/relaxing areas. "The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque."

"FIrst of all, Jennifer is a great host -- doesn't speak much English, but goes out of her way to try. We couldn't figure out how to use the heaters, so she came right over to show us. It was nice to meet her that way; she was truly helpful. The listing on Vrbo is 100% accurate, so there are shortcomings, but no surprises at all. Place is well laid-out for a family. That being said, Pannes is the middle of nowhere; all the commerce is in Pont-A-Moussons, about 15 km from the house. Good luck...
