### Guest House in Villa with pool, terrace, walks, 10 min. Siena, Chianti.

Splendid 18th century mansion with typical Sienese architecture. It is situated next to the historical village of Basciano. The house position is ideal because one reaches the Chianti region in a few minutes or can enjoy the culture and convenience of the city of Siena (6 km away).  
  
The "Guest House" apartment (80m2) is on two floors. It is accessed from the courtyard of the property by an independent entrance with a gate. Private terrace, equipped in the courtyard with pergola and umbrella. Entrance to the house on the ground floor through a glass door in the living room. The main room include a living area with a single bed- sofa, a fully equipped kitchen and dining table. The bathroom is equipped with shower cabin. Single bed situated at the mezzanine floor. On the second floor there is a large bedroom with a double bed and a baby cot. On the ceiling one recognizes the typical Sienese beams. Furniture in a typical Tuscan style.   
  
Within the courtyard, a private terrace with pergola, table with comfortable chairs and an beach umbrella allows to enjoy the open air. BBq available. The courtyard is surrounded by an old stone wall and an entrance with wrought iron gate, and by a hedge on the other side.  
Outside the courtyard, you can enjoy the garden, along with the terraced swimming pool; pergola with table, chairs, deckchairs. Outdoor shower. Private parking inside the property.  
  
In the property there are three independent holiday units (Villa, Guest House and Restored Barn ), recently renovated and fully equipped. Each unit has its own separate and independent entrance. Private terrace with garden furniture. The pool is reserved exclusively for the guests of the three units with separate space and chairs reserved for the guests of each apartment.  
  
Location: Siena is located just 10 minutes from the house (6 km), the property is located in the Sienese Chianti, in a quiet and pleasant countryside area. The location is ideal for quickly reaching Florence (55 km, 40 minutes), San Gimignano (30 km), Castellina in Chianti (10 km). The nearest village is Quercegrossa (3 km), with bars, restaurants, bank, pharmacy, post office. 5 km from the property, the Siena train station, with the largest supermarkets (Coop and Porta Siena shopping center). The Spa, horse riding, golf, bicycle rental are 15-20 minutes from the house. Beautiful walks in the surroundings.

#### Ruhig und gepflegtes Anwesen

Wir fanden ein sehr umsichtig und liebevoll eingerichtetes Feriendomizil vor. Alle Infos über Umgebung und Siena waren bereit gestellt. Ein sehr schönes Anwesen mit Pool. Ruhig und sehr gepflegt, incl. Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine. Mit dem E-Bike konnten wir schöne Fahrten in die Berge um Siena machen .

#### Top Lage und Ausstattung

Die Ferienwohnung hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage für Ausflüge nach Siena (ca. 6 km) und das Chiantigebiet. Zur Wohnung gehört ein kleiner Innenhof (wie beschrieben), in dem sich gut sitzen und im freien essen lässt. Zum großen Pool sind es wenige Schritte. Dessen Lage ist sehr schön. Insgesamt ist die Lage sehr ruhig. Das Haus ist vollständig ausgestattet und alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Gastgeberin und deren Mutter sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben sehr gute Tipps erhalten, wo wir für den Sienabesuch am besten parken können und auch wo man in der Nähe sehr gut essen kann.

#### Just as expected!

From our first enquiry, the owners were always so helpful and our stay at the Muricce was everything we wanted it to be! This is a wonderful place to stay, and to tour from. There is something to see or to visit in all directions. We have been to Tuscany before but we enjoyed the opportunity to visit Chianti – this time properly- and re-visit Montepulciano, Pienza Volterra, and much more. The apartment has beautiful furniture, the bed large and comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped. The evening at every return we could relax in the shade of the pergola with the scent of jasmine. We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend the guesthouse.

#### Appartamento bello e funzionale in dimora antica

Una bella e geniale soluzione abitativa all'interno di un podere antico, ideale per 2 - 3 persone. Un grande terrazzo con muri antichi e fiori profumati rendono ancora più piacevole la permanenza in questa casa. A ciò si aggiunge l'aria relax con piscina e ampi spazi verdi, con zone al sole e altre all'ombra. Lo splendido salone con cotto antico sul piano superiore (sarebbe riduttivo chiamarla camera da letto) ha due finestre con zanzariere e un angolo notte, con un ottimo letto matrimoniale alla francese (sia io che mio marito hanno problemi di schiena). I vari pezzi d'antiquariato danno un tono elegante all'appartamento. il bagno è un po' piccolo, ma risulta funzionale nella distribuzione. L'ambiente è molto tranquillo. La posizione davvero strategica, a due passi dall'uscita della superstrada Firenze Siena, ma anche dalla Chiantigiana, consente di visitare agevolmente, con l'una velocemente e con l'altra più piacevolmente, le numerose città d'arte nei dintorni. La casa era pulita e i proprietari molto cortesi e disponibili. A pochi passi dalla casa (forse 200m a piedi), una fattoria produce degli ottimi prodotti biologici: olio, vino, ricotta, formaggi, uova e marmellate. Il problema maggiore è stato di dover lasciare tutto questo.
