Die Gastgeberin Frau Mayer ist eine nette Lady die alles im Griff hat. Urschmitt hat kein Lokal aber in 5-7 km Entfernung findet man alles."

Unless you have a lot of money the immediate area may not be the place for you to shop. Löhrstrasse is only a few minutes walk and the shopping there is endless, without vehicular traffic, and you can find real bargains there. "This is a light and comfortable apartment with good views of the castle and vines from the seating area outside. Large bed and two wonderful showers! The kitchen was well equipped for self catering with saucepans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, kettle etc. A few more mugs and glasses would be useful. We had a very relaxing stay here in Alken and are hoping to return next year."
