"Stayed for a short visit and loved it! The location is great to use as a home base for side trips to Salida, Monarch Mountain or even destinations in the San Luis Valley. Comfortable, beautiful lodging and good for kids as well with the creek and little playground and sand box on the property."

"Great spot between monarch and Salida. Hot tub worked great. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub not as private as the picture implies. Highway quite loud (woke kids up several times). Internet spotty at best. Kitchen had pots/pans/ dishes but zero condiments. Hard to prepare your own meals with nothing to add (ie olive oil, salt, pepper, ketchup etc). "This property is in a great location. A few miles from Monarch for great skiing and plenty of trails for snowshoeing in the area. We also love the close proximity of Salida, our favorite mountain town. Beautiful accommodations and private hot tub cannot be beat!"
