Luxury close to the French Riviera: House surrounded by nature with swimming pool

We are pleased to provide you with this individual house that we have enlarged, restored and decorated as if we had to live there ourselves, because we wanted to make it a real place to live, to share.

We are particularly attached to this little house, a simple ruin bought by our parents who had already made it, little by little, and with their means the place of our meetings and our memories.

Sharing this passion for this magical place, we acquired the adjoining land and in the same spirit we built our home there. This hill is almost ours. This is where we live and this is where we want to welcome you! With you, "a little like with us".

We wanted to keep all the simplicity of the place, specific to its primary function, a simple shepherd's shelter that we have transformed into a haven of peace with great comfort.

Working in the theater and cinema trades, our sensitivity to art and creation certainly contributed to bringing an original and offbeat touch to the design of this place!
As budding artists… we have created door handles (sculpted in fine woods) and certain decorative objects, sculptures and other photographs.

A beautiful wooden terrace overlooks the valley as if you were weightless. Cradled in lush greenery, deckchairs and hammock will invite you to laze around. A little lower, the swimming pool (salt, without any chemicals), and the bowling green…

This islet of simplicity and peace is surrounded by magnificent grounds planted with olive trees, guaranteeing you the luxury of the isolation, calm and serenity that you have come to seek from us.
Nature lovers you will realize what the word silence means in our hills still untouched by any visual and noise pollution.

Your stay will allow you to discover the Paillons valley, which is still exceptionally preserved from the rest of the Côte d'Azur.

You will be delighted, whatever the season, with a rich palette of colors and varied activities. Tracks and hiking trails around, beaches, rivers, canyoning, via ferrata, mushroom picking, skiing or snowshoeing await you.


For those who would like to push the discovery further, the Mercantour and the middle mountains like the Vallée des Merveilles, Peira Cava, the Turini pass and its emblematic routes of the rally of Monte Carlo, Italy by the passes or by the coast, the hinterland of Nice and these villages are very close.

The house is 10 minutes from the village of Escarène by car. To get there, you will have to take a concrete track for 1km, then a dirt track for 2km, suitable for vehicles but not recommended for certain vehicles that are too low.

On your way from Nice, 10 minutes before arriving at l'Escarène, you will pass by the town of La Pointe where there is an Intermarché, a service station, a Picard and a wine cellar.

We recommend that you stock up on the way to the house… A large freezer is at your disposal!

In the village, you will find a grocery store offering local vegetables, two bakeries, two restaurants, a bar / tobacco shop, a pharmacy, four doctors, a butcher, a post office and a bank with ATM.

Whether you are a lover of idleness, maddened by contemplation, experienced hikers, occasional walkers, by bike, 4x4 or simply wanting to get away from the city bustle, you will certainly find your happiness with us.

You will also be able to discover a different French Riviera with its hinterland rich in traditions, its unusual and forgotten places, these unknown beaches, the most beautiful sites of the French Riviera, authentic villages ....
But also the cities of Nice, Cannes, Monaco with their museums, their best restaurants, their renowned beaches are nearby!

In all cases we will share with you our knowledge of the region and the passion that drives us to live in a preserved and rich environment.


The house consists of:
- A kitchen equipped with quality equipment with induction hob, oven, microwave, extractor hood, espresso coffee maker (the pods are free), toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge and freezer
- A living-dining room with television (bouquet SFR), wifi and bluetooth speaker, sofa and a nice space for meals.
- A first bedroom with a double bed in 160 (possibility of dividing it into two beds of 80).
- A second bedroom with a double bed in 160, (possibility of dividing it into two beds of 80) and a bed in 80
- A bathroom with bathtub
- An independent toilet.
- A cellar with washing machine.
- A wooden terrace with deckchairs, hammock, large convivial table, plancha ... and all this in the shade of a beautiful roof adjoining the house, olive trees and shade cloths.
- A 6m x 4m pool treated with salt with a shower, deckchairs, large outdoor cushions and parasols.

The access path to the house, unfortunately does not allow us to accommodate people with reduced mobility.
The house is entirely non-smoking, smoking areas are provided outside, (with the greatest attention required, even outside because fire risks are unfortunately frequent in the south of France!)
For the sake of hygiene we regret that we cannot accept pets.

In a spirit of perfectionism, we paid particular attention to the bedding as well as the linen (which is provided free of charge). We ask that you do not use pool towels.
