"Hours after checkout they charged $180 to our card and when questioned they stated we “damaged the curtain sheers” when asking if they had proof or photos or even a log on when we entered/exited our room to prove we were hardly there during daylight hours, they replied no to all questions and wouldn’t provide any form of proof. They have been difficult to work with in navigating this outrageous “damage” charge that I ended up just filing a dispute with the bank. This put a huge financial strain on us as we were traveling out of state and their lack of understanding or empathy with the issue almost made the charge seem calculated and strategic and it’s not their first time executing an outrageous, untrue charge. A sad ending after visiting family we haven’t seen in 10+ years. We’ll never stay at a double tree or Hilton again."
"If you like having coffee in your room before you are dressed, sorry you can not. You see, they decided to save plastic on your behalf. I will not stay here again, otherwise worth 5 stars...love these hotels but California pushes stupid ideas on their guests, dumb."
"For it being a fairly new hotel it was a bit disappointing stay there. Not cleaned very well especially the bathrooms and also it smelled like smoke in every hallway."
"The room was really nice, but the air conditioner wouldn’t cool down the room even set at 66 degrees. We don’t like to sleep in a 72 degree room at night.
Also the breakfast was pretty good but most of the hot items were almost empty. Bacon was gone and everyone was asking for it. The lady said it was coming right out. We were there 20 minutes and it never came out. She came and looked at everything a couple times, but no refills"
