![Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the Herz-Jesu-Kirche or "Sacred Heart Church" in Koblenz is one of the most important Neo-Romanesque sacred buildings in Germany. The church was built from 1900 to 1903 to the plans of Ludwig Becker, who would go on to be the Mainz Cathedral master builder. The Herz-Jesu-Kirche was consecrated on 19th May 1904. The church was severely damaged in an air raid in 1944 and was completely burnt out. It was rebuilt from 1950 - 1953 after the Second World War. « Si globalement, le Mercure de Coblence est satisfaisant du niveau quatre étoiles que nous connaissons, mais la chambre numéro 516 comporte une salle de bain, digne des Hotel de Préfecture entre parenthèses qui n’ont pas de classement) : l’évier de belles taille n’est pas bien fixé et est susceptible de décrocher sur s’appui, ballon, encontre ment dessus de la salle de bain, effectivement conforte, déséquilibre des éléments pour l’équilibre, les personnes handicapées circuit bien, mais...

« This is very nice accommodation in a great location; only a short walk to the historical area and attractions. The studio was lovely and clean (they replaced towels during our stay). Close to restaurants, supermarkets and shopping (delicious bakery below) The only downside was there weren’t many dishes/cups etc to prepare/serve food and very steep stairs (if you’re carrying heavy luggage it can be tricky) »

« Personne à la réception accueillante. L'hôtel est assez bien situé mais partagé sur 4 sites. Je suis déçue car bien que la chambre semble agréable à première vue, la déception fut énorme au moment de se coucher. Le lit double est composé de 2 matelas individuels, un était correct, l'autre horrible ! J'ai dormi 2h sur ce matelas dans lequel on s'enfonçait littéralement, des carbatures de partout à 1h du matin et on a fini à deux sur un matelas de 90cm de large. Nuit sans aucun repos. Bien cher...

« La chambre ne correspondait pas du tout aux photos, le mobilier était vieux, ainsi que la moquette, et ça puait la cigarette et le lit n’était pas confortable. Nous avons été obligés de payer par carte de crédit au lieu de visa, et plusieurs membres du personnel qui ne parlaient pas l'anglais évitaient de nous servir ou de nous répondre. Les points positifs étaient la piscine et le cadre. »

Ceci aurait pu être remarqué depuis de nombreux semaines, je pense par le personnel responsable du suivi technique.trois "

"Petit hôtel de charme et romantique situé en bordure du Rhin. L’endroit est magnifique et près des attractions touristiques dont le téléphérique pour aller à la forteresse de Koblenz et la rencontre du Rhin et de la Mossel. Notre chambre avec terrasse fleurie est invitante à la détente. Chambre au goût du jour, confortable et lumineuse. Salle de bain petite et bien équipée. Propreté remarquable. Le personnel à l’accueil est courtois, poli, souriant et rapide. Le déjeuner-buffet matinal est délicieux, plats variés, bonne cuisine santé pour commencer la visite de cette magnifique ville de Koblenz.
