We were so fortunate to book this property as the place was perfect for both convenience to the surrounding area, as well as the quality of the accommodation itself. « A group of 10 of us stayed for a lovely weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney, just a short drive and your in the country. Fantastic house with great ammenities and beautifully decorated both inside and out. Lovely hosts who allowed up an early checkin and late check out! Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend! »

« We stayed two nights and enjoyed the bush setting. Pity it wasn’t cold enough to have the fire on. Lounge comfortable. Has Foxtel but no wifi. Kitchen a bit small if you like to cook. Small fenced area attached to house so easy to toilet the dog. Host helped with fixing gas for hot water. Nice bath tub. Air conditioner and extra blankets available. »

« The house was lovely. The garden was clearly once a beautiful garden, but has been let go. The house was very well furnished with an abundance of kitchenware/ china/cutlery etc. it is a pity the main bathroom does not have a shower as this would have helped a lot with everyone getting ready. »

« We had 9 staying at Lavender Cottage and the bedding and beds were wonderful. The layout of the cottage was good, with dining room and lounge large enough for all, with comfortable seating etc. Surrounding was beautiful, and felt very countryside while still only 10-15 mins out of Mittagong. Great 4pm leaving on Sundays. On the downside, property needs considerable maintenance on appliances, heating etc, and outdoor cleaning on BBQ and furniture.
