"Eventhough I gave 5 star because of location and friendly staff and nice breakfast, 2 things we did not like. Our room window was looking into closed up well like area with windows of other guests towards us. And one night things got liquid and we could hear it, I am a light sleeper. "

"Old rooms Not worth the price "

"We had a midnight check in. The first room had bugs and stains pn the wall. Second room smelled, the next day I asked for cleaning service. The sheets and bed has many stains filthy. But they cleaned up the room and it was ok. Good location though. "

"The staff was welcoming and accommodating. There are multiple different food options. The beach walkout was great. You can literally sit on the beach all day and staff will wait on you. Vendors are on the beach as well. "

"Clean room, perfect location, air conditioning "

"I was very disappointed with my room. The communal areas look fantastic but standard room was worse than basic. First room the sliding patio door had no lock so had to move as I do not feel safe as a solo female traveller. Both the rooms had a literal hole in the wall with make shift cupboard doors covering it meaning the room was very noisy. I complained on the “how was your check in” email and was told someone would speak to me that day to resolve. I left 4 days later without this happening. This was my 3rd hotel in Brazil and 2nd in Rio and was the worst and most expensive. "

"The front desk staff was very helpful. It’s in the perfect location in Rio. It’s at the Apex of Ipanema Beach and Copacabana Beach. The rooms were a bit small, but had everything that I needed. I would also recommend a room with a view. The courtyard view is facing another apartment. "
