"We had a nice stay. The breakfast was better than any breakfast we have had at like hotels. Our room was right next to the lobby and elevator. I asked for a change because I was concerned about noise. That statement was met with "it really should be fine." It wasn't one. We heard everyone who came to check in up until 11:30 pm. The most disappointing thing was that a we heard a few people walk in with no reservation and end up with better rooms. This is frustrating when you place a reservation weeks in advance and get placed in the worst room."

"Clean room, staff (night and day) were helpful and friendly. A/C fine. Good value ($100/night from Expedia). Breakfast however was lacking-not horrible but tried the burrito. But was so unappleaing I had to throw away :( Maybe add some frozen Eggo's? Overall though, was very pleased w stay."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Richard, the owner, is readily available to take care of any needs and personally prepares an excellent breakfast. The B&B is particularly well suited for couples, but rooms on the same floor can accommodate families or small groups. The house appears to date back to the late 1800s or early 1900s and is very well maintained for its age. Staying here gives you a chance to experience the charm and atmosphere of that era. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return if we are in the area again."

"Property is just as advertised! Super cute, newer, little cabin that is exceptionally clean. Host contacts you almost immediately after booking and check in is so easy. Great, quiet place to stay…and view elk!"

"Driveway to cabin is in serious need of some maintenance. We were driving a 3/4 ton truck and certainly could navigate it, but it was ROUGH. Cabin is nice and secluded and met our needs for an our stay. Another thing worth noting is the bedroom (2 beds/1 big room) are up a fairly steep flight of stairs. Just something to keep in mind if traveling with really small children or others that have trouble with stairs."

"Our stay at the HyGrade Inn was excellent! We've never stayed at a B&B and this one will be hard to beat! The uniqueness of the Inn was phenomenal! The one owner, Jim was great, the knowledge and the stories of the quaint town of Emporium was so interesting. He told us where and when to go to most likely see some Elk, and we did see some! The food was excellent. Will most definitely come again! 🙂"

"Clean, comfortable, great for children and adults alike. Enough toilet paper, paper towels, coffee kcups, seasonings, aluminum foil and even zip lock sandwich/freezer bags. The creek is beautiful with wildlife all around. Everything you could want to be home away from home."
