"I've stayed at the Subshine House numerous times and it is as charming as ever with the new ownership. It's a serene oasis! The sunrises from the deck and expansive views from the house are amazing. The house is clean and well stocked and there is a TV in each room. My dog enjoyed playing in the big yard and water. Kiran was super nice, communitive and helpful. I will definitely come back again."

"This home has all you need for a quiet lakeside retreat. The private boat launch is just a few minutes walk from the house and it is a short boat ride to get from the launch to the private dock. It is a quiet neighborhood and not too far from Lake Anna restaurants. We enjoyed sunning on the floating dock during the day and relaxing around the fire pit at night. The game room is in the garage across the driveway with lots of room to play. Kitchen/dining room/living room is open floor plan so feels spacious even with a full house. We would definitely rent this place again in the future!"

"We loved our stay at this house. It was clean, and was comfortable for our family. The dock was great for fishing. The kayaks were nice to have. One big problem was the arcade game machine did not work like it did last year when we stayed here. I messaged the manager through VRBO but didn't hear back. Our kids were disappointed. Even though we encourage them not to play video games, they really loved it last year and we wanted to come back this year. If it is advertised on VRBO, then steps should be taken to make sure it works."

"The condo was in a great location and was overall mostly clean and very comfortable for what we needed. The blankets and towels Some of the toilets looked visibly dirty inside, the floors and rug on main level were pretty dirty, but not terribly. When I asked what kitchen appliances and utensils were available, the response was not accurate so I packed cups, plates, silverware, mugs, cooking utensils etc. and in the end they were not needed. I was glad the kitchen was much more stocked than I was told, it was just a minor inconvenience that I packed extra. Overall we had a great experience and we’d love to come and stay again."
