The cabin was very comfortable (comfortable bed and fluffy towels), very clean and even dcorated for Christmas. I cooked Christmas day and found everything I needed in the well-stocked kitchen. « We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. »

« This place exceeded our expectations immensely. The owner has thought of everything, right down to the last detail. The kitchenette is fully stocked with literally everything you would need to prepare a meal, right down to a selection of spices. Same for the bathroom and laundry; soaps, shampoos & conditioners, detergent pods, even cotton swabs. You can literally just show up and have everything you need for your stay, other than the food, of course. And as far as that goes it's in a...

« Mark was easy to talk to and answered any questions promptly. I have stayed at other VRBO's in the past and have been burned. We are a large family. My husband and I like to take our adult children (5 girls) and spouses and our 2 grand children and my Mother on a vacation. This place was absolutely perfect. Was large enough to host us and entertain us. We have made some great memories. »
