"Literally next door to VMI and Washington & Lee. We had a baseball tournament. 10 minute drive to anything. Place was great! Didn't get to try the breakfast but it looked solid. Coffee was good and the coffee bar was on when we checked in at 4 pm. Beds were good. Room was clean. Rooms were large. Would be easy to work in the room on your laptop. Microwave refrigerator and coffee pot. Large bathroom. Quiet. Ice machines worked (sorry to anyone I disturbed filling up ice buckets at 8 am). Elevators worked. Large lobby. Indoor pool. Fitness center. Only drawback was no bar at night."

"This place was magical! It’s history, the place is very well maintained and gorgeous. The staff is very nice. The food and amenities were top notch. We went as a family with 3 kids and we all had a great experience. The spa is a must and the local hot springs is wonderful….. I want to go back dinner than later"
