"I had good communication with the owner but admit was disappointed by the over all experience. For such a high cleaning fee, I did not expect to have to make the beds when I arrived, but did find it was in the fine print. The house is in decent condition, but having the furniture all covered with furniture blankets made it feel cheap. The heating was erratic(hot upstairs and cold down), and I was awakened one night with water noises, which turned out to be a flushing of the water system right...

"Checking in and out was super easy. Cottage was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Loved sitting next to, and in, the peaceful, babbling river. Would come again...if the US government reverses its planned new requirements for Canadians to bring their dogs with them to vacation in the US."

"Pictures online undersell this little cottage. The layout is family friendly and also completely suitable for a couple or even individual stay. The owner was very responsive and the property showed pride in ownership. Plenty of towels and bedding were provided. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and such. "Location was great. The house was just ok. Pictures are way better than the property. The house just didn't feel clean. Ownership ask you to remove your shoes. But dirt sticks to your bare feet, a lot of it. There was an old hard brownie on top of the refrigerator left behind. Coffee is from the 70's and sad. One tv in the whole house had to move it from room to room. Laundry room half bath is the best . Both full baths are very very dated. And the shower in one is not even useable. It would not...

"First of all I would like to thank Mike and Tara for their hospitality. The house was beautiful (even better than the pictures), the location was perfect and the lake view was spectacular.
