"My room was large, beds were comfortable. Enjoyed very large counter space for toiletries. This room (and the grounds) were IMMACULATE and the gentleman at checking was very welcoming and helpful concerning everything one may need in the immaculate area! Ironwood is a very nice small town with everything anyone might need!"

"The pictures on the website are accurate! This is a gem on a great, relaxing lake. We rented a pontoon boat to do some tubing. The lake is shallow along the shoreline so I would likely not bring an aggressive ski boat unless you are very familiar with its depth requirements. Saw plenty of fishing boats though and seems to be a great fishing lake. Hosts really put together a very nice rental. Super clean and fully stocked with everything you need. We had a couple of fairly warm nights so the AC came in handy. Also, if you are concerned about drinking water, we drank from the kitchen faucet and it was totally fine. 5 stars!!"

"The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was clean a mostly quiet. There were people outside our window making a ruckus in the middle of the night. There was fresh fruit in the breakfast nook, which I appreciate as a diabetic who can’t have all the carbs. It was mostly clean, but we found garbage under one of the beds. We were offered plenty of towels, soap, and shampoo. We enjoyed all of the facilities: the fitness center, the pool, the hot tub, the arcade, and the bowling alley. We felt safe and were able to sleep well. The location was within walking distance of stores, restaurants, and gas stations."

"This is the perfect peaceful “up north” getaway!We had a WONDERFUL stay! The house was exactly as advertised (if not better), beautifully and tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed and more. There was plenty of room to unpack and make ourselves at home, and the upstairs living room (along with the rest of the house) was absolutely breathtaking.We couldn’t believe how quiet and secluded the property was; it was truly the “up north” experience we had been searching for for years. We hardly saw another person on the neighboring docks or out on the water. The lake was incredibly clear, the sunsets were gorgeous, and it was so dark at night that the stars were amazing.We also had fun fishing. Between the pontoon and the dock, we caught plenty of bluegills and pumpkinseeds for a Friday fish fry, along with a ton of bass. It became quite hot outside during our stay, but the bedroom remained cool enough for comfortable sleeping. The internet worked very well.Tammy was responsive, flexible, and helpful throughout our stay. She left wine and chocolates for us, which we enjoyed while celebrating our anniversary, and even had personalized a chalkboard sign to welcome us - such thoughtful touches!The property is definitely “in the middle of nowhere,” so be prepared for that, but it was exactly what we wanted. The drive into town was very manageable, if needed. The entire experience was wonderful, and we would absolutely stay again!"
