#### Wonderful stay in kilsyth south

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night - place is clean, cosy, and the spa bath is great with a fireplace! There was also a loaf of homemade bread which was delicious. Kaye was lovely in allowing an early check in for the groomsmen to get ready :) thanks Kaye!

#### Fantastic hideaway

Highly recommended for a relaxing weekend. Wish we had a couple of nights, not just the one. The property is lovely to walk around and the accommodation is very comfortable. We highly enjoyed the outdoor spaces and sitting in the atrium type area. Kaye also made the most amazing loaf of bread! The spa bath is great to soak in after a long day. We were surprised how close locals shops and restaurants were too. Highly recommend Mountain Thai. A great night sleep, breakfast provisions the following day and close to local attractions meant an enjoyable experience overall.

Everything was cleaned top to bottom when we arrived, fridge stocked with breakfast and she even made fresh homemade bread for the following morning. One of the best weekend holidays I've had in a long time.

Beautiful and peaceful place, Kaye was more than welcoming with freshly baked bread when we arrived. It was a little smaller than anticipated but overall a very lovely experience. Price wise I think can be a little lower but would happily come back !!!!

I booked this property for my parents stay on our wedding night. They could not have enjoyed it more. The property manager made them feel so welcome and they loved every bit. Only regret was not booking for longer, or staying there ourselves. Thank you for making my parents feel so special.

We booked the B and B for my best friend on the worlds wedding night we had bridal photos in the beautiful gardens and got some great photos on the bridge and surrounds which suited her vintage themed wedding to a tee. The cottage stay overnight made them feel very special on thier wedding night.

This property was very nice internally and very clean. We thought by the write up it was completely private and we were the only property on 5 acres. However it was a small cottage situated right next to the main residence. This was a little disappointing. But apart from that there was absolutely nothing to complain about.. The fresh bread was lovely too.

Beautiful expansive garden setting, private lake, warm and generous host, lovely romantic cottage and all the little details taken care of...a great place to unwind and escape the rat race. My wife and I loved our romantic "mini break" at Lakeside Cottage - would definitely return!

Me and my partner had the most incredible time at the lakeside cottage!Kaye was very warm and welcoming, the bread that she baked was amazing!It was a surprise getaway that I had planned for my partner and he couldn't believe how luxurious and comfortable it was. The little touches like fireplace and 3D television were great, and the breakfast supplies were excellent!Highly recommend this little gem, we will go back as soon as we can :)

We loved the well-equipped cottage with its interesting layout and space. Also appreciated the small touches Karen made for us as we're vegetarians. We enjoyed the privacy of the area too. We were glad that we decided to drive there as it made it convenient for us to go around. There's even a 24hr Woolsworth nearby.
