"I am a repeat guest at this location. The room was clean and was comfortable. I did have a bit of trouble on checking in, the room given me was not the one I had reserved. I had reserved one of the "special needs" rooms. I have shoulder and knee issues and the set up in these rooms meet my needs. I was told those rooms were unavailable. The first room they gave me did not have a fridge. The second was ok, but was not completely satisfactory to my needs, it was on the first floor which I liked. On Monday, Samantha was on the desk, I have dealt with her before, and she is great at helping guests with issues. I explained the issue; she reviewed it and remarked that I should have been given the reserved room as expected. Samantha took care of me and put me in room 122 within an hour of our chat. Other than the check in issue, my stay was great and I will be back. Samantha is a gem and should be recognized for her professionalism and attentiveness. Her dedication truly made my stay much more comfortable and enjoyable."

"The cabin is so cute. Its perfect for two people. It was very clean and the air conditioner is great! The hostess is great. She answered my questions almost immediately every time. The only drawback was the bathroom. There is no space to spare. If you have trouble getting up and down on the commode, this is not the place for you. I have bad knees and struggled to get up and down. The shower is also very small. Despite the bathroom, we had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed it very much."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was an old motel but met our needs. the air conditioner in the boys room was not as cool as the one in my room, but they added a fan to theirs to help. Lovely area"
Whispering Woods Cabins & Grill

"This was our second time staying with Whispering Woods. The hot water was not working when we arrived and as we had a delayed flight into Little Rock, we did not arrive at our cabin until 1130 pm. There was no way to reach the staff until the next morning after ten AM. My wife was not happy with no hot water to shower with. I got a staff member who asked me if I had tried the trouble shooting list. There was no trouble shooting list in our cabin. She asked me if I could fix the problem, and as we were on the road visiting family, I could not do this. She asked me if I would like her to fix the problem; I said yes and the problem was fixed when we returned to the cabin that evening. My wife complained that the pots in the cabinet were not clean. We had a very nice view of Lake Norfolk from our back patio. The air conditioning worked well."
