"Clean room and steps from the pool. The air conditioner is ice cold and the bed very comfy. We also liked the spacious shower. Pops ice cream is to die for and we enjoyed the short walk to mantas beach where we saw many monkeys with their babies, a sloth and her baby too along with the resident macaws! The pool is clean huge and very welcoming!! We liked the iguanas sunning beside the pool too. We would stay again, very private and abundant wildlife too"

"The views are absolutely breathtaking, easily the standout feature of the property. Whether you’re overlooking the ocean at sunset or walking through the grounds, the scenery is stunning. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with lush landscaping that really adds to the overall experience. Most of the staff around the hotel were warm, welcoming, and very helpful, which made navigating the property and enjoying the amenities easy. That said, the dining experience fell short. The restaurant staff were not as friendly, and the service felt subpar compared to the rest of the hotel. The menu lacked variety, and it felt like there were very limited options—almost like you were stuck eating the same meals repeatedly. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t stand out either. Because the hotel is quite secluded, you don’t have many alternatives unless you’re willing to travel about 30 minutes into town, which can be inconvenient if you’re relying on the on-site dining. On a positive note, the private beach was a nice feature and a great place to relax and unwind. Overall, Villa Caletas offers incredible views and a beautiful, peaceful setting, but improvements to the restaurant experience and menu variety would make a big difference."

"Los empleados en general son muy amables, el transporte del hotel es muy eficiente y los señores muy amables, las camas muy cómodas y las sábanas de buena calidad, los paños y toallas de igual calidad, el restaurante tiene muy buena calidad de productos, dos estaciones para los omelets, y son muy rápidos, me sentí segura para haber ido solo mi hija de 5 años y yo, regresaremos con mi esposo, hay una pops en la esquina, vimos 10 lapas que viven sobre el hotel, el proyecto de conservación de la lapas es muy hermoso e interesante, la pasamos muy bien, la comida en los restaurantes está bien, no es ni barato ni caro, hay que tomar en cuenta que es un lugar turístico, pero vale 100% la experiencia, y es muy cerca de San José 2 horas, "

"We had such a wonderful experience at this home. The house was stunning and views were spectacular. The house staff, Carlos, Gina and Tatiana, were so welcoming and friendly throughout our time there. Their home-cooked meals were delicious, and they were very mindful of food allergies. The home was very clean and spacious along with multiple balconies for enjoying the sunsets. Our two families were so grateful we chose this location where we really felt like home. Communication prior to and during our trip was also fantastic, and assistance with coordinating transportation, excursions, and meals helped make our trip feel so carefree and relaxed. "

"Very spacious apartment, great views from the balcony. Unfortunately we saw roaches under the sink and its obvious that this is an issue because they had raid sprays under the sink for roaches. All coffee makers are in bad condition and couldn't use any of them. Driving directions from the main road to the apartment could be a little better, like letting guest know to turn right when they get to the ice cream shop. I was told that we have access to the amenities of the club and that wasn't true, no one provided us with bracelets to use the beach club and I was told by employees that I needed to buy a Day-Pass, luckily the public entrance its not far from the club and the access to the beach its easy."
