"Gave room away, put us in another room were door to room would not work, 3rd room they tried smelled like a locker room. Had to literally book another hotel at 9pm and while leaving saw multiple people coming and going to lobby with various complaints. The hotel did not even have a functioning phone. I eventually found out the hotel was forced to close almost a year ago but somehow was still operating. "

"We love this property for a quick getaway. Rooms are beautiful. We always stay Club Level and the wonderful Shima - who has been there for 30 years (!) - never fails to make our time in the Club Lounge impeccable. All the Club staff are great, but it is Shima who makes us come back with her next-level service. We enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub and the spa is lovely as well. Will return time and time again. "

"My partner and I stayed in this property to celebrate her birthday, and it truly was an exceptional experience. From the staff who were inviting and attentive, to the modern style of the rooms, to the amazing amenities, and great food at the market and breakfast restaurant, it exceeded all of our expectations. The icing on the cake was the package they offered to our puppy which included dog treats, a bed, feeding bowl, and toy. This was all complementary! We definitely plan on staying here again during our next visit to Alexandria. Thank you to the staff for such an amazing experience!"
