"The apartment was new and spotless. The service was exceptional, polite and professional - especially on the last day when after checking out, we could take a shower and use their refreshments. Check in was also easy despite no staff being around as the whole process is well planned and communication good. They didn’t cancel the booking so it still showed as active in Hotels.com system leading me to believe they would have been happy to keep my money for not staying and causing me a lengthy change process to verify with hotels.com.
