Mahakal Temple, Darjeeling : hôtels à proximité

« It is an excellent place to stay if you are not looking for a classical style "Hotel". It has a very warm and ready-to-please Staff - only 8 of them to manage all ten rooms. It is a heritage Property with all the quaintness and old-world charm in terms of the building and furnishings etc. It has a feeling of a large Homestay with very personalised Service. Recently renovated and therefore still needs some "De-bugging" I would recommend it if you are looking for a warm and stay »

« It is a heritage hotel in keeping with bygone times. Super close to the mall. Lovely dining room for dinner with fireplace and candlelit. Food was terrific with alot of choices. Buffet bfast but you can request eggs how u like. Some renovation works currently but all staff and workmen encountered always super polite and helpful beyond . If I were to go back to darjeeling I would definitely stay here. ...the drive from bagdogra to darjeeling is an experience in itself. »

« Hotel is nice but check if your has a view. If not, avoid it because its very expensive and not benefit »

« Overall did the job, not exceptional but friendly staff always helpful. A little out of town but incredible views of the Himalayas. Breakfast was not a buffet for some reason, and no fridge/mini bar in room. »

« Clean room , staffs are good, by my side the hotel is best at budget friendly »

« Ranjit was welcoming and helpful without pressure. He helped us arrive meeting taxi and carried luggage to leave. Any questions were quickly answered on WhatsApp. The internet is very fast the TV is good for raining days and the view spectacular when clouds lift. 300 inr is a generous fare from station for luggage a short walk has cafes and little shops. Darjeeling is a hill town walking down from here is easy coming back needs a taxi as all hotels do. Not expensive so good value for money. »

« We booked the Family Room with Balcony and Jacuzzi for a 3-night stay. The room itself had a very cozy feel and was perfect for a family, and the staff was phenomenal—always friendly and eager to help. However, the room's main selling points fell short of expectations: Jacuzzi Maintenance: The floor jet caps were missing (except for 2 or 3), making it uncomfortable to stand or sit in. Additionally, it took so long to fill that I had to call reception to have it filled manually. As a result, we...

« The staff were great. The location was perfect and close to main Darjeeling mall. The floors in the room and multiple junctions in the lobby area are uneven which may cause discomfort and extra attention especially for elderly people. »

« Well maintained. Good customer service. »

« Good property to stay at very good location. Staffs are polite and helpful. Only problem I faced while checking out that they could not find my payment which already made during booking the room on hotels.com.There must have some communication gap between hotel and hotel.com causing unnecessary delay in checking out. »

« Helping Staff, best view from room, of an valley. »

« The view from the rooms is exceptional. Being able to lay on bed and see the Himalayan Mountain range was the highlight. Staff were extremely helpful anf friendly. Thank-you we really enjoyed our stay and were fortinate to see the snow capped peaks most days. »

« Hôtel bien placé, à une rue de la rue commerçante; personnel vraiment très attentionné et sympathique; On a pu avoir deux chambres communicantes (pour 4 personnes) mais aucun chauffage dans les chambres, on a dormi tout habillé ! Aucun wifi dans les chambres, il faut descendre dans le lobby, où il fait très froid car la porte d'entrée reste ouverte. Petit déjeuner indien. »

« Room too cold. Cant be adequately heated. Staff refused to give 2nd key to keep heater on . Cockroaches in dining area/table. Staff ignored when cockroaches were pointed out. »

« Ready to walk little bit. Hotel send bell boy to help you , if you are with luggage. View is great 👍 »
