Numerous bus lines pass through the area, offering a convenient alternative for getting around and reaching specific destinations in the city. Cercanías Renfe (commuter trains):If you need to travel outside Madrid, Sol station is part of Renfe’s commuter rail network. Taxis and ride-sharing:As is common in Madrid, taxis are easily available in the Sol area. In addition, ride-sharing services such as Uber and Cabify operate in the city and can be a convenient option if you prefer a private ride. IMPORTANT NOTES: \-Currently, roadworks are taking place on the street where the accommodation is located, so there may be noise during the day and limited access. The access information was available at the exact time we mentioned for our arrival. Therefore I suggest to indicate as arrival time 3 PM, the starting of the check-in time otherwise one will have not an idea how to get in; there's no keys only codes and procedures requiring internet. We stayed 10 days but we didn't kook per se, only breakfast and light supper. There is a washer & dry machine which is very useful although it took some time to find out how is functioning. The apartment is suitable for two persons. The gray blanket in the bedroom would need a deep cleaning or better a replacement. The strong point is the location, everything is at walking distance. Madrid is a vibrant city, people are outside until late night socializing and enjoying life. Overall we are satisfied with our stay here. ##### Lucia R.
