HOW TO GET AROUND You can walk to all the places of interest, but you also have several nearby metro stations and buses. Metro Gran Vía:Lines 1 and 5\. You can reach La Latina in 2 stops on line 5. Metro Sol:Lines 1, 2, and 3\. From here, you can easily reach any point in the city. To reach the apartment: From the Airport:You can take a taxi with a fixed fare of €33 or come by metro: Take line 8 from the airport, transfer at Nuevos Ministerios to line 10 to Tribunal station, then switch to line 1 to Gran Vía station, and walk 2 minutes to the apartment. From Atocha Station:Take metro line 1 directly to Sol station, then walk a few minutes to the apartment. From Chamartín Station:Take line 10 to Tribunal station, then switch to line 1 to Gran Vía station, and walk a few minutes to the apartment. You can also arrive by car and park in one of the nearby parking lots. Please consult the Madrid City Council website for information on possible environmental restrictions and permitted parking. Easy to walk to all the sights. Only negative is that it's on a busy street with lots of noise up to 2-3am (restaurant across the street and foot traffic).
