« The property manager was very helpful with any issues we had and quick to respond, even when the issue was something we just overlooked. We enjoyed the house and the outdoor deck is amazing. We also love the amazing walk-in bathroom. If you are looking for a great and spacious place to stay near Taccoa Falls College then I highly recommend staying herw. »

« Very beautiful property the lawn was very clean and tidy. easy access to the lake. The location isn’t far off from the downtown area which was very neat. There is also a small stand that sells eggs, honey, etc as soon as you turn on to tom Cobb all local and fresh. The trip all together was perfect and 10/10 would recommend staying here!! Ps do watch for deer/wildlife my sister in law hit one maybe a mile from property. »

« It’s a cute cabin which feels recently renovated. We cooked all our meals there using the well-appointed kitchen and outdoor grill. Our kids loved the hot tub. My daughter and I did a beautiful multi hour kayaking trip around the lake. It was a good family getaway. We used the house as a base to do a white water rafting trip on the Chattooga river, about a 45 minute drive away. It’s a stunning trip which we highly recommend! »

« A group of us (6 couples) came to Georgia to attend the Combat Veterans Associations Nationals in Athens. As a large group we wanted a comfortable place to stay nearby and the Riverhouse in Monroe was perfect! Very spacious, very clean, quiet area and beautiful property and home. We had more than enough space for our large group and we felt right at home. So much so that some have talked about planning another trip to the Riverhouse- especially to check in on the beautiful, sweet local cat that...

« Very remote, but if that’s what you want this is perfect. No wifi and very little cell service but that was perfect for us. Property is great with lots of built in necessities like kayaks and a fire pit and plenty of space to roam. »

« We loved everything about our stay here! The house itself was so cozy and well-appointed. The hosts’ attention to detail is obvious, as we had everything we needed and more. We spent most of our time floating in the water and sunning on the dock in the beautiful, quiet cove, but also enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck in the mornings! « This cabin was nice. It was a quiet place. We were only there for 2 nights but will be back again. »

« The outdoor space is truly lovely—full of well-maintained plants, flowers, and even a garden. Communication with management was also good—prompt and polite. However, the interior needs more attention, including repairs and a deep, thorough clean. The home has a lot of potential, but overall it didn’t meet our expectations. With the right upkeep, it could be a great place to stay. »
