« The property description is pretty accurate in that it is rustic. Rustic has a lot of definitions, but Sunflower cabin (and the two adjacent cabins) are very rustic. Very minimal in furnishings and such. It is very quiet and Denali (dog) and the cats pretty much make themselves at home on your porch. The small town of Gridley is nearby, but there is very little there in terms of groceries, etc so plan ahead and bring what you need. Closest town of any size is Emporia (40 miles). « My husband and I were looking for a peaceful getaway away from the hustle and bustle and we found it here! The cabin was small; perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed fishing the ponds, looking at the stars, and just being in nature. The property is beautiful, the hosts are quick with responses, and seeing all the animals was so fun! Denali even came to our cabin a few times to take a quick nap - she's a great pup! »
