"The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Vic was so nice and made sure I had anything I needed for my overnight. Conviently located next to the Happy Garden restaurant (Chinese/thai fusion) that was great! Also right across from the harbor for easy access to boating."

"I have stayed at the Skylark whenever I visit Lakeport. The rooms are always clean, beds pretty comfortable and the is staff friendlyand helpful. My only complaint would be the pillows are a bit flat for my liking."

"The room was clean and the bed was absolutely comfortable. It was quiet setting, The pool and hot tub was perfect and the front desk was very pleasant and helpful and they made you feel very welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend for a place of quiet downtime. 💞"

"There were pubic hairs in the shower bottom, along with long curly head hair wrapped around the shower faucet. The room was dark, and I was still able to see that it had been a long time since someone dusted or looked at the top of the curtains. The cobwebs appeared to have been there for a very long time. "

"Our room was on the second floor. My husband is disabled. Came to find out the owner had not maintained the elevator for 4 years because he’s too cheap to apply for inspection it has to be fixed. Room sleeps 3 and the bed had no blankets sheets or pillows. The very kind kitchen prepper( no staff on hand and no WiFi info) got us a blanket that had a bowling ball size hole right in the middle. The all paper was peeling on all walls and corners. Room 205. I had to make four trips up 2 flights with luggage and one with my disabled husband which took 30 minutes. It’s quite a sh— hole. The mini frig fell out of its cubby face down onto the floor. "

"Wonderful hotel, beautifully restored. The service was top notch. We couldn’t get a reservation at Blue Wings Saloon nearby for Valentine’s Day, and the owner / manager made it happen for us - which was a welcome treat after a long day of travel. Will definitely stay again, here or at any other property of this group."

"Such a lovely spot for a stormy weekend. The king rooms were clean and comfy! Loved watching the wildlife around and all the natural light in the room. They even set up a fire for us and we were able to make smores:) "

"The host, Jared, was most welcoming and helpful! The location offers beautiful and inspiring views of the lake being right on the lake with some garden to the left of house. Deck across front of house for viewing magnificent sunset and sunrise less so. House is well equipped and heated with mini-splits in each room. Most comfortable beds. Newer shower. "
