Nos merveilleux cottages à Lowgap

« We loved the tranquility of the setting and the house itself. We didn't see anyone in our area until we went to our wine tasting up the road. There were opportunities to explore the river and outside area, as well as relax on the porch and inside. We loved the sauna. Our kids loved it too. »

« We loved this cottage. Perfect location, awesome host, comfortable, clean and cozy. We would certainly stay here again. »

« Really nice people who responded quickly to request. Very clean. Small refrigerator had no ice trays. »

« Everything about our stay here was wonderful. The hosts were excellent communicators and their home is absolutely beautiful. You feel so at home in their space and it was so comfortable. Everything we wanted to go to was within a 10 - 20 minute drive and super convenient to get to. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone who comes to this area and hope to come back ourselves again in the future. »

« Beautiful cottage and property. »

« We had a great time at this cottage. The purpose of our stay was to go to North Wilkesboro racetrack. It was 27 minutes no matter what way we went. It's close to some small country stores that had everything we needed for our weekend stay. This property has a lot of country feel to it. If you are looking for a place to stay that is a little off the beating path and have a great view of rolling hills this is a great spot. If you have a Dog this property has plenty of room for them to run around. »

« The property was exactly what we were looking for… quiet, comfortable and relaxing.Independence is a short drive away for any necessities, but we came with almost everything for a couple of fine meals. The cookware could use a little refresh, i.e., a few more pots and pans, but it all worked out fine.We weren’t able to do any stargazing because of the cloud cover, but we plan to come back in the fall/winter when the conditions are likely to be more favorable. All in all a great escape from CLT.We...

« Property was great and exactly as described. Very thoughtful amenities and communication to prepare you for low cell signal. Be sure if you are a coffee drinker to take some with you as they only provide 2 kcups. But they do have a great 2 in 1 coffee pot that allows kcups and pots of coffee. »

« Great location and home off the parkway. We always have a great time when we stay »

« Perfect cabin in perfect location! Great host. Highly recommend »

« We had a lovely stay at The Dollhouse in Elkin. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and wonderful shower pressure. House manual very informative. Host excelled in southern hospitality adding thoughtful touches that made our stay feel so welcomed. It is very close to Main Street with wonderful shops and local eateries. Great music scene and cocktail bars to visit. We will certainly add this to our list of “keepers”. »
