"This is a beautiful little cabin in a nice setting. When we first arrived the hummers buzzed me each time I went to the car to for the load in. The screen porch was a great place for sitting and thinking or enjoying a beverage. Our two Russell terriers loved it as well.The kitchen is well appointed with nice appliances and everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would have liked to try out the fireplace, but it was a little too warm. Speaking of which the AC worked great to keep the cabin comfortable.The one thing the cabin lacked is a fence around the yard for our dogs. We don't let them out unleashed so they weren't able to run. We knew that beforehand so were prepared to deal with it. Paul was easy to get hold of and we exchanged texts a few times. The one drawback is our GPS unit at times was completely confused on the secondary and tertiary roads, not uncommon in the NC mountains."

"Just right for an overnight stay. Right on the highway so you can hear the sounds in rooms on that side of hotel, tho it is soft and didn't disturb. Room super clean and staff was friendly and efficient. Tho not in the listed details, all rooms have a fridge which is useful. Will stop here again."

"We had a great end of summer trip here! spent the last day entertained the entire day with a family of 5 just playing games in the game room and using the hot tub. I will note the single bed upstairs in the loft area and futon in the basement are in open rooms without privacy so plan for that. The house is very private and relaxing!"
