"Looks like the property is old af but very, very nicely renovated. The bed and pillows were super comfy. You get what you pay for with the free breakfast. "

"Very spacious and walk friendly if you have a pet with you. I wish this hotel and many others switch from carpet to a cleaner flooring type like many of the newer ones are doing. Would make it feel even cleaner. "

Although can can with “no charge” cancel, if you rebook, to remove one night like I did, they rebook the ENTIRE itinerary at the increased rate, so f any. I wonder, would they reduce the price if price down? Not nice, Expedia. I called hotel to try to fix. They were surprised Expedia did that…"

"Conveniently located to shopping and play area for children. Lots of food selections. The suite was super cool to have especially with family sleeping in past the breakfast time. We were able to toast the waffles and refrigerate drinks and leftovers and medical supplies as we needed. "

"Discovery Lodge is a nice home base for visiting Estes, with a quick drive to the park. It's located near the free trolley, which is worth checking out in advance to better plan your trip. Breakfast could definitely use improvements, and make sure to shop for water at the grocery store (nearby) in case their dispenser is not working. The rooms & beds were clean and comfortable, and view from the back balcony/ windows is beautiful. During the fall, elk are EVERYWHERE! This trip was my 4th time to stay here. There are breweries, shops and restaurants closer into town- a trolley ride, longer walk or short drive. The Stanley was nice, but if you're visiting within two hours of closing they might be shutting down all around you. "

"I like this La Quinta because of its closeness to Sunrise Ranch where I visit every couple of years. It is a tall and stately building. The rooms are spacious. The staff is helpful and accommodating."
