The Space:
Experience the unique architectural features of one of the city's flagship historic buildings. Natural light pours into the open kitchen and living area through 12' windows and soaring 30' ceilings. Renovations preserved the original exposed brick walls, wood molding, and salvaged beam stairways.
Whiskey Row Lofts is listed on the National Historic Registry for it's Italian Renaissance Revival architecture, featuring a beautiful limestone façade, Corinthian columns, and well preserved interior. Home of the original Galt House, hosting famous guests such as Charles Dickens and Civil War generals, the building burned down in 1865 and was rebuilt in 1877 as the headquarters of the L&N Railroad, which became one of the most successful regional railways of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The apartment has a Yale smart lock keypad for self check-in with a code that is unique to your stay and expires after you check out for added security and peace of mind.

Getting Around:
We're located at 140 W Washington St, in the heart of Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville!
For loading/unloading luggage or other items, you can park your car in front of the entrance or in the nearby loading zone with flashers on. Please don't block the garage entrances!
There is paid street parking on 1st St, but the easiest option for longer periods is the Yum! Center parking garage under the overpass at the corner of W Washington and 2nd St -- it's $25 for overnight parking, but sometimes has surge pricing during events. Unfortunately, there isn't any free parking nearby, except at the street meters overnight and on Sundays.

Want to start your trip early or sleep in on your last morning? We’re happy to accommodate an early check-in or late checkout if arranged in advance! Our standard check-in time is 4:00pm, and our checkout time is 10:00am – we charge 10% of the nightly rate per hour (with a minimum of $20/hour) to adjust our cleaners’ schedules and arrange this service.

Love this place! Great deal, great location and just a super cool place to stay. TIP; if you are renting a car, parking is 20-30 a night. Plenty of parking unless there is an event.

20th Anniversary
Although the process of getting to the actual room was a little tricky, the directions really are written well! The views and location were amazing. Located within walking distance from so many things. My only negative feedback (not a deal breaker in any way) would be the lack of kitchen amenities. We brought bagels for breakfast and there was no toaster and very little silverware. But, we just ate them untoasted and all was well. I would definitely go back if I'm traveling to Louisville again and would recommend to my friends.

Beautiful Apartment, Great Communication
The apartment was extremely well-located, right downtown, and it is well-represented by the host. It is a great space that met our needs perfectly. We had a few hiccups along the way, which were partially our fault, and our host, Matt, was very responsive and helpful. I value good service and clear, timely communication over most other things, and our host did an exceptional job in those regards. We would stay here again without reservation. Highly recommended,

Great Property!
The Loft was amazing. Space was clean and the architecture of the space was cool. Great communication with the host. Definitely felt safe and secure. We were in town to experience the Urban Bourbon Trail and the location of the loft could not have been better. Close to distilleries and great food options. Would highly recommend and my wife and I are already planning a return trip and will book again.

Little hard to find
Don't trust Google maps. This space is not the Humana building. It's next to Troll pub. The amount of security to get inside was a lot, but the space is very big and very clean. The bed was soft and the view was fantastic.

Great Loft in a Perfect Location
We loved everything about our stay. The loft is amazing. It looks just like it does in the pictures in the listing. From the moment we booked the loft, Matt was in touch with us providing details about our stay and then making sure everything was fine during our stay. Check-in was a breeze. The loft was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.
The location is spectacular. There are several bars/restaurant on the immediate block, and it's only a couple of blocks from the river park.

Huge Loft Whiskey Row
Loved this loft. The view of downtown is great. Everything you need is provided. Dinnerware, cookware, silverware, etc. Parking on Witherspoon St in the Witherspoon Garage East is the cheapest option and its not far from the loft. You can walk to a lot of restaurants from here. The mattress is a memory foam and its firm which worked for my short stay but only for a short stay.
