"The room was massive and clearly newly decorated. It was let down on the first night by the previous occupants filthy towels still being in the room. The other major issue with the room is the noise. The room is at the front of the hotel and the noise from the revellers outside and the sound system just below the room meant no sleep. There should be a new word for places that charge you to stay but you can’t actually get any sleep. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the cocktails...

"Good location although no dedicated parking, although the owner did provide parking vouchers to allow street parking, however due to busy school holidays and roadworks this was a bit problematic. Good communication from owner on check-in/entry to apartments. Our unit was up several flights of narrow steep stairs, and although two chair lifts were present there was still an intermediate set of stairs that weren’t covered - the chair lifts restricted ability to walk up the stairs with a suitcase safely. Kitchen well appointed although compact and crowded eating/sitting/cooking area. Only provided decaffeinated coffee along with caffeinated and decaf tea, however good to provide drinking chocolate. Close to beaches, shops and rail."

"We had a fantastic weekend. The property was imaculate with a lovely homely feel with very high end touches. It is in a great location tucked away just off the main st of tynemouth but we heard no noice what so ever and in walking distance to everything . It is dog and child friendly appart from the beautiful wooded stair where care was required with our toddler. A lot of thought has gone into this property and it shows. Thank you very much for letting us stay we all said we could live there "

"The house was fantastic, very well equipped kitchen, lovely living room both with large screen TVs. There’s a great, full enclosed garden which was ideal to let our dog run around although she loved running in the nearby beaches too. The house was very clean & also very welcoming to pets (they even had pet food bowls available for use). We loved our stay, would certainly consider staying here again - highly recommended! "
