  • Lumineux et lumineux, près de l'ascenseur, ce condo au troisième étage donne sur le jardin, à mi-chemin entre la piscine et la plage. L'unité est un condo de deux chambres, deux salles de bain avec salon, salle à manger, cuisine mise à jour entièrement équipée, petit coin bureau / bureau et balcon avec store. Le salon et la salle à manger ont des plafonds voûtés. Le salon comprend une unité murale avec télévision à écran plat 55 pouces et des meubles de salon mis à jour. Il y a un coffre-fort dans la chambre. Le condo est non-fumeur.
    Il y a un lit king dans la chambre principale, 2 lits jumeaux dans la chambre d'amis et un lit queen dans le salon. Cette unité est attrayante, propre et confortable avec un accès facile à la plage ou à la piscine.

Stayed during a holiday weekend. Not much of the staff was available for the third and Fourth of July at the facility. Apparently they are aware. But clean up as needed. There was a a lot of raccoon crap on walkways and nearby visable roofs….. Other than that annoyance. The property was fairly well maintained….. Property has an unusual configuration. Many condos don’t have a Gulf view…..

Wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at Sand Cay! The condo was extremely clean and spacious with everything we needed. Just a few steps to the beach or pool with plenty of activities available as well on the property. Parking included was a bonus as well! The staff was so kind and responsive. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Awesome Place at the Beach

This place was clean and updated. Just as the pictures show. Comfortable beds. We love the proximity of the beach and all the amenities Sand Cay has. Perfect for a relaxing weekend. This is our second stay at the Sand Cay (first at this property) and we will continue to come back for years. It is just we are looking for in a vacation spot.

Excellent stay

Great place for our family. Very clean and everything was exactly as described. Only issue was that our key was not left out for the late check in, but after calling the number provided we were put in another unit and then moved to the correct unit the next day. Staff was very apologtic and credited us a night which was a great surprise.Highly reccomend!.

Sand Cay is a great, quiet location on Longboat Key with all the amenities you need. The unit was very clean and the perfect size for 4 girlfriends although there is a pullout couch if we had more. The kitchen was also fully stocked with what we needed to cook. We’ll definitely look to staying again!

II wasn’t comfortable on the mattress and woke up with a backache every morning. I rarely have back pain otherwise. Condo great otherwise. Loved the decor. Front desk person was friendly and helpful which I appreciated. Of course, loved the ocean!!!

Condo was ok

We liked the location of the condo and accessibility to the beach. We probably won’t stay there again though because the condo itself was just ok. Some concerns we had: Bathroom are dated and the sink in the master bathroom would not drain. We called the office and someone came 2 days after we arrived and he said “I put draino in it and got some stuff out”, which made us feel kind of gross because our toothbrushes and toiletries were in there. There was a very large tv in the main living area which did not work, someone had plugged in a small tv in front of it, so we had to huddle around it to watch the bowl games. I called and they said they would get a new tv in the next couple of days. They finally brought a larger one on the 3rd day of our 5 day trip, did not replace the broken one but just plugged it in front of it. To be fair we checked in on 12/31 and the office was closed until 1/2. Therefor we could not address some of these concerns until then, which also added to our unease about the place. We did like that the kitchen has been nicely updated and the master was large but wished there was a little more attention to detail in other areas of the condo.

The place could use some updating. You could tell some things were very old (they still worked but could use an upgrade). Not a bad walk to the beach and the condo was right by the stairs. There was an elevator too for easy use if you had a lot of bags or small children. The place came with a lot of equipment for a stay more than a lot of air bnb places. Perfect for our short stay on Longboat Key. I would definitely stay there again. The general property was also very well maintained and was clean and looked great.

Great Location and unit size - Not worth the price

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great, units are large and well equipped. The building exteriors, walkways, pool area and landscaping looked well maintained. The buildings are wood frame, so kids running up and down the walkways will be heard and felt inside your unit. My unit smelled of bacon and there were some Cherrioes on the floor when we checked in. We had a 3rd floor unit. There is one elevator which broke down after we checked in and was not functioning the rest of our time there. Beach wagons, coolers, grilling food, etc., all had to be carried up and down three levels. Management did not put an out-of-order sign on the elevator. The first day my wife got stuck in the elevator. Thankfully the door opened after a few minutes. I asked for additional time at checkout to carry everything down, management granted 15 minutes additional, and offer to close the office to help carry things down. I typically travel to smoke free hotels/resorts. The grounds are not smoke free, so there are ash trays around the buildings and cigarette butts thrown in the sand on the beach. Also needed to move upwind of the smokers on the beach, as it gets pretty tight between beach chairs.I would not have minded these inconveniences; however, for the price point, I expected better.If you go in with the expectation that you are paying for location and unit size, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Really great except for the TV

It would take 8-9 attempts before it would stay on. Wanted you to know. Appreciated the late check out as we had a later flight - not sure the HC crew was alerted as they knocked on door and clear was sitting waiting near elevator.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our extended weekend at Sand Cay. Management was kind, the beach was wonderful and the unit was perfect for our small family. Close to restaurants and Publix, and just what we needed.
