Yurt Floating in the Forest

"Wonderful place! We loved the decor, and the bed was so comfortable. My back didn't hurt when I got up in the morning! Being in the middle of the woods was a plus, too. It was quiet and a much-needed break from living in town. Sitting outside on the deck looking up at the sky through the trees was wonderful. Bill was on top of it as a host, and his communication was great. Coffee, tea, drinks, & many snacks were provided. We had everything we needed, though the fridge could have been a little larger. It was a tight fit getting everything in, but overall, we had a great time. If you go in warm weather, don't forget the insect repellent."

"The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really good - nice selection, sausage, eggs, three kinds of juice, coffee, rolls, fruit, etc. and ..waffles. Dining area adjacent to lobby was spotless and every item fresh with hot things hot and cold things cold. Some things show their age, but the price is great for the location. Everything worked - plumbing, room temp, refrigerator, microwave, TV, USB chargers, ...everything. We've stayed there before and will again."

Cozy cabin getaway with hot-tub under stars!

"This place was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I were looking for a getaway and this was just it. We had absolutely zero cell phone service, no wi-fi, plenty of DVDs to watch. We must have watched 30 movies. I did take the TV and DVD player down to the couch sitting area. It's so far secluded back in nature that you literally see nobody. It is exactly what we were looking for and we will definitely be back. Town is about 10 to 15 minutes away and do not let the creek crossing to the property scare you. It is hard as a rock. I drove my one ton diesel across it to the cabin and you could easily take any SUV...... it was so wonderful not having any Wi-Fi or cell phone service to be bothered. We are actually thinking that it might be a good healthy move from here on out randomly. Toby and this property is a 100% perfect place to unwind from the world. We will be back. 10s"

"We had a nice stay. We slept well, they had an average to better than average breakfast. There was some damage to the wall in the bathroom and toilet/shower was separate from the sink. The closed bathroom was pretty small. Close enough to the Katy Trail for a short drive. Bike just barely fit in the elevator and room, but was happy to get out of the heat!"
