![All Saints church. All Saints church > 1692081 - 1692114 dates from the 14th century and is a Grade II listed building. Its south porch is a later addition dating from the 15th or early 16th century, and an extension built onto the north wall and providing modern facilities was completed in 2009. The church houses a number of medieval survivals, amongst them several wall paintings - one depicting St Christopher, another the Annunciation > 1692151. A very rare depiction of a group of women surrounded by three devils, dominated by Titivallus - the Demon of Gossip - is painted on the north nave wall, clearly meant as a warning against gossiping. The rood screen > 1692117 is late C15. « Had a lovely 3 night break at this property. It’s nice and spacious with comfortable beds and extremely clean. Everything necessary for self catering is there and I would thoroughly recommend it. The shower has great water pressure too (this is important to me!) Within a stones throw of a couple of pubs which both have lovely gardens on the water and serve food all day. Jump in the car and the local area has plenty to offer too. We had our dog with us and he loved the walks - no need for a car...

"The team at reception and at the restaurant (dinner, breakfast) were professionals and very kind. There is a big issue with housekeeping : we stayed with a baby during 5 nights and we had to show we were upset: then they cleand our room ! In fact they never used the vacuum (but we asked for because the room was very dusty ) snd they made the befs only once in 5 nights !!!! 200 euro per night : the cleaning doesn’t deserve this money !!!!"
