"One of the most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever slept in. The room was clean. Kitchen had basic amenities. THe fridge didnt shut tight and a few of the cabinets were loose. The room seemed to have a little musty odor, but Im taking that as we went during a very humid time of year. Everything seemed damp all the time. We were on the 8th floor oceanside. Nice balcony. IF you dont want to hear screaming kids in pool, ask for a room high up. Goo location to the boardwalk. Easy walk to the skywheel and restaurants. WE hardly ever saw anyone in the hallways or elevators. Elevators were fast. Staff was friendly and there were always maintenance people cleaning around the pool area. Love that the pool area overlooks the ocean. Dont rent a beach chair from the lifeguard. Just sit in the back row by the pool and you get the same view. Never had a problem getting a lounger by the pool."

"We loved our stay here! It was so nice and so many things to do onsite that if you didn’t want to leave, you really don’t have to. There’s a Starbucks inside which was something I searched for before booking anywhere and although it is a bit pricier than usual it’s not far to another one down the road which isn’t much cheaper but a little. There are lots of pool and hot tub options. The DJ outside every evening was so fun to listen to and being right at the beach was amazing! Fourth floor is where we stayed and there’s a bowling alley, the ice cream there was delicious! I’m very pleased with our stay, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and if I go to Myrtle Beach again this is where I’ll be staying! I’ve already recommended the place to family and friends. "

"I was worried based off of some of the previous reviews…but it really was not that bad.
I’ll start with the building IS a little run down and older and they are currently short staffed and therefore don’t have daily housekeeping in your room.
However, aside from those two VERY minor inconveniences, my husband and I had a very lovely stay. Our room was nice with a beautiful view from the balcony. The bathrooms were well stocked with 4 bath towels, 4 washcloths, shampoo and conditioner samples and two bars of soap. The bed was comfortable and we did not see any bugs and the mattress had a protective cover. Because there’s no housekeeping they had a towel and bed linen exchange on the main floor for when we need to switch out old linens. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pool was relaxing, clean, not too crowded. It’s also a very accessible for the beach.
We had a leak under our sink the third day and they sent maintenance up to our room while we were out for the day and had it repaired before we got back. he even exchanged our old towels we used to clean up the mess.
If you are an extremely picky person I would not recommend this hotel. You will likely find something and have complaints and should just spend your money elsewhere. But if you are looking for a place close to the beach, with a comfortable bed and hot shower that is affordable…This is a great place to stay!
