"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable, and the furnishings were really lovely. The lobby, bar, and game room on the first floor were very nice; the pool and fitness center in the lower level were beyond our expectation; and the art gallery on the 2nd floor was amazing. Our only criticisms come from it being an older building - the air conditioning cooled the room, but actually over-cooled it, and then when the air con turned off, it got too warm before it kicked back on. It left us alternating between too hot and sweaty to then too chilly and needing a blanket at night. In one of our rooms the shower handle came off and we reported it to the front desk; they put it back on but it came right off again. We had dinner our first night at the restaurant Idol Wolf - fantastic food and service. We really enjoyed our dinner. Overall it was a great stay at this lovely hotel. We would definitely stay here again."

"We were in town for a baseball game. While we were there we took in seeing the arch, ballpark village, and the anheuser Busch tour. This hotel was within walking distance to everything with the exception of the anheuser busch tour which was only about a 10 min drive. This hotel was close to most everything downtown. We had a corner room which was very spacious and clean. The staff was also wonderful and would recommend staying in this hotel if you are looking to stay downtown."
