The Incognito #1 is located steps from The Scotsman General Store and very convenient walking distance from downtown. Enjoy a stylish ground floor experience at this centrally-located AirBNB. The Incognito #1 is located in a historic building built in the 1940's that was originally a mechanic shop. This unit is newly finished. Included is a 1 Bedroom (1 King), 1 Bath ( Shower / Bath tub), Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave.

With this unit you will experience what made Laurel, Laurel. As you look out the unique architectural windows, you will have access to the rail line that gave Laurel its prominence while also carrying musicians and artists to New Orleans, Chicago, and all along the eastern coastal cities. We are very excited to share this experience with our guests. You will hear the train / Amtrak and also see its daily travels and enjoy the sites that it brings.

* Just as a note, the train tracks are located to the east. So you will hear the train occasionally. Also of note, most all of the AirBNB's in the Downtown Area are located so that you will hear the train. It is just one of the unique aspects of Downtown Laurel.

It was our first time staying here and as you know, can never be sure of your stay. We stayed in #1 and it was very clean and stylish. The host are fantastic and quick to contact if needed. Had no concerns with location and is within easy walking distance to the Scotsman of Hometown.

WOW!! Not much else to say…. Excellent location ( minus the train ), excellent bedding and mattress, great bathroom. Will definitely stay here again without hesitation if we return to Laurel. The train is right there but the building is really insulated well, so really not even a factor.

Two of us stayed in this property over the weekend. It is a really creative use of a former garage space. The renovation of the space was done very creatively and quite well. The bedroom has a closet and a good size and comfortable bed. The living room/den/kitchen is good size with great appliances, a smart television, bar seating, and a comfortable couch and chair. The amenities are top notch and the unit was extremely clean and smelled wonderful. The location is very good for downtown Laurel and you are within three to four blocks of the historic district, Scotsman General Store is a block away. Great unit and the posting is accurate. We enjoyed our anniversary weekend and communications with the Owners was first rate and no problems encountered. Good parking off the street in a secure location. You do hear the trains that are about 1 block away during the day and night, but that was stated and should be expected if you are in the historic part of Laurel. Great vacation!

This was me and my wife's second time staying at Eric's Incognito VRBO and we both HIGHLY recommend it. The location is terrific, within walking distance to everything we want to see (literally a block/3 minute walk to Scotsman's) and the rooms are very well done. Just what we wanted!
A great time. We really enjoyed the place for 2 main reasons. The vibe was great as it had an industrial look and feel which was really cool. The 2nd reason is how close we were to town. It was no more then a 5 minute walk into downtown from "Incognito #1". Perfect for what we wanted.

My girlfriend and I came to Laurel to see the home town house and to see the historic city. While there I proposed to her at Euclid Park. The incognito #1 was absolutely wonderful would definitely recommend it very convenient to all the sites/down town area!! She said yes!!!

What an awesome place!
I absolutely love this place. My sister and I stayed here and it was perfect. The unit was super clean, and stocked with the basic necessities. Excellent location. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The decor is fabulous, coupled with exposed brick. Check in was smooth with no issues. The hosts are wonderful. Very kind and accommodating. Also prompt with communication. I love this place, and very much enjoyed my stay. We will definitely be back next year.

Newly renovated comfy clean modern industrial vibe respite place for our stay in Laurel. The bed was very comfortable. Eric is a really nice guy. We had a chance to meet him. Highly recommend. Great spot in Laurel
Very clean nicely appointed unit. Very comfortable bed!! You can walk to everything from here and the Dollar General next door is convenient for any forgotten items. The listing mentions the train and you will hear one or two a night but the black out curtain make sure you get a good nights sleep. Would stay here again when visiting Laurel.

Perfect stay near downtown Laurel
This property seemed new, very well appointed. Unique with its mechanic garage history, owners did a great job refurbishing to modernize while keeping the historical interest alive. Beautiful interior, comfortable bed and steps to downtown Laurel. The owner was able to accommodate an early check in, very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. No check in issues. Check out instructions were a little confusing as detail in email indicated in unit laundry, outside garbage a little difficult to find. Always important to us to follow instructions, this is the only opportunity I note. Highly recommend this listing, reasonably priced while still feeling high end.
