"Stayed for a night at the last minute. The room was well laid out for our family of 4. Although we didn’t have a pet with us, it really is a dogs dream stay. Stayed with a 15 yo and a 5 yo and they were both very impressed by the location & amenities. The robes, binoculars, and kettle were a great addition. I would possibly suggest some slippers to go with the robes! The bar tender and chiefs were very personable. They even suggested a gym out 15 yo could use for the day since there were none on the property."

"Nice place, nice location. Good price! Only wish bathroom light was inside bathroom not outside as in the night time you’re forced to turn the light on with the door open which wakes up whomever else is in room. Nice front desk. We were given an extra hour for checkout "

"My family and I have stayed at this hotel for 20 years. It’s changed hands numerous times through the years. This time though I was super impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the newly remolded rooms. This is the only hotel we stay at near Monterey because of the convenience of the beach being right outside our hotel room. Also there’s a target and Costco just down the street making it easy to grab necessities and whatever else we may want. Rebekah, at front desk was incredibly kind and even sent up chocolate covered strawberries after finding out we were there for our 7 year old twins birthday. We will definitely be going back soon!"

"Poor customer service. When I arrived, I had to wait for 1/2 hour before someone came to helo me check in. I received an electronic card key and when I went to the room, I woke up some poor man at 11:30pm because the room had already been assigned. I had to go all the way to the lobby to get an empty room. In the morning, I was awakened by maid service insisting I had requested early check out, which I had not, especially since I had checked in late. The hotel itself was OK, although "
