"Enjoyed a family weekend for a destination wedding at Hitching Post. Cottage was perfect with all amenities we needed. Out in the country, able to find some time to relax by the fire pit. We really enjoyed Lancaster which was a 15-20 drive."

"This was super cute and cozy, we wanted to get away for weekend anniversary and not kill the bank account. Very quiet relaxing, little trail behind it was nice as well. We had 2 small dogs and was great for them as well. James was very quick to respond when needed something or asked questions. Next time we stay gonna try out the Skoolie!."

"The property was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. After a long day of hiking, we enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. The cabin is about 20-25 minutes to many trails at the state park. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had family of 6 with ages from 5-81 years and one very old weiner dog. Fishing was amazing.There are some really large bass in the pond but you have to give them what they want. Our lips are sealed so good luck! Spent most of the time on the deck as it is so peaceful. Heard my first deer snort and it isn't what you would expect. My hubby is a life long hunter so he knew. "We enjoyed our stay there. About 15 mins from the OSU campus, 5 mins from Downtown, Kroger, and German Village. No problem with street parking by the house. Curb appeal is top notch. Insides are exactly like the listing promised. We will consider staying there again, for sure."

"I really enjoyed my stay here, and the location can’t be beat! Right off the highway, in a quiet historic neighborhood. The garage happily fit my Honda CRV with room to spare, check-in was easy. The neighborhood is great for walking, with a fantastic park and several good coffee shops. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in town."

"We rented this property with family members from Ohio to celebrate my son's graduation. It was truly a magical weekend and a fantastic place to celebrate. The pool and hot tub were pristine, the weather was perfect. The management were extremely responsive and helped correct a water issue within minutes of checking in. "When you first turn on to Phelps road to get to your cabin you see the scariest, trashiest junkyard to the right , that is quite large and off putting. It’s kinda creepy BUT once you do find your turn to head towards your cabin it’s very secluded and the perfect place for a quiet get away.
