and famous Canada Street’s dining and shops.

  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Our family of 5 plus our dog had a great weekend at the Lakeside Lodge for Winter Carnival. The townhome was just as described, beautifully furnished, well equipped and clean. We loved that all amenities (linens, towels, soap, etc) were included, makes it so much easier for a short weekend trip to not have to bring all of that. Host was incredibly responsive and flexible. We would highly recommend and hope to stay again.

60th birthday weekend

This place is spotless, gorgeous, cozy and close to everything. We used the grill right outside our front door. Parking was literally 5 feet from the front door. Weather was perfection. Sat on our deck for evening cocktail hour. Truly a gem of a spot. We can't say enough good things. It's spectacular. Don't hesitate to book

Great location

We go to Lake George every year for the Adirondack nationals. We have stayed in many places over the years but this place had the best views. Clean and more then enough space for our family of 5. We would definitely stay again.

Great, relaxing stay

House location was great and extremely clean. I have stayed at places where they give you more of the essentials, shampoo, conditioner, plastic wrap, tin foil, etc. Just be aware to bring those types of things and this place is perfect!

The property was in a great location and very clean. However, The property should not be advertised as a 2 bedroom house. You have one bedroom and a small room with Murphy bed. If you are coming with 2 couples this is not a place to stay as there is no privacy. There is a curtain that separates the other little room but you have to passed through the main bedroom. No privacy at all. We stayed there for 4 night, the first three nights were very quiet. The last night the apt next to us had a lot of people and couple kids and when they were running around the house it felt like they were in our apartment. There were no cooking pots. This property does not offer shampoo which most places do. So something to know in case people expect that. Also, even the TV in the next apartment was on until passed midnight and you can hear as it was in our apartment. This of course disrupted our sleep on the last night. Overall if there are loud people in the next apt, this can be very dissrruptive. Thank you

Great place great location!

Excellent property! Clean, high quality, with great responsiveness from owner. FYI: 1. the pull out sofa would be no good for any adult, mattress very thin, small children only. 2. Upstairs was a bit warm due to no ceiling fan or hvac return atop stairs. However, after lodging this complaint, maintenance promptly brought a fan which helped immediately, if positioned to circulate colder 1st floor air up to 2nd level. For this reason only, I give 4/5 stars. If owners installed a ceiling fan upstairs, it would solve the issue.

President's Day Weekend

The property was very accessible and conveniently located. We were impressed by the updated finishes and furniture, as well as the cleanliness. The property was comfortable, safe and roomy. Pull out beds worked well for kids while upstairs loft included a king size bed. A really well appointed property. Will look to come back in the future.

Relaxing weekend getaway

3 adult females stayed here for a “girls weekend” and had a very relaxing getaway. The townhouse was exceptionally clean & well equipped. We stayed in Unit 7 which had a direct view of the lake which was a plus. There were originally supposed to be 5 of us, but only 3 could make it. It was comfortable & plenty of room for us, but I feel it would have been tight with 5 adults, or up to 6 as listed. The property manager responded quickly, check in emails & process was very smooth & efficient. I even called ahead to inquire about early checkin & was given approval for 2pm, which was very helpful. The location was great with easy access to town. We didn’t take advantage of the fire pit but is a great feature to utilize. Parking was great with 2 designated spaces outside your unit.

Beautiful property

Exceptionally clean! The kitchen is well appointed. Its a very "open concept" townhouse, not a lot of privacy for a 16 yr old. Perfectly located, out of the hustle and bustle, but a short 5 minute drive to almost everything!

Clean and good location

Overall we were happy with our stay! The unit was very clean and check in was easy. The owners answered messages promptly. Unfortunately we did not have a mountain view as expected, we were in unit 1 and could only see the building in front of us. Also it is advertised to fit 6 adults, but it was very tight with 6 of us. I would say it is more comfortable for 4.
