It’s a 20min drive and was well worth it. The house was spotless and had plenty of room. Loved the two loving area with the TV NOT in the main room so we could unplug. Easy to bring in stuff from the car as you park right by the front door. Just be careful with the steep slope of the driveway that goes to the lake for a boat launch. The view of the lake was wonderful and so quiet. It was clean, lots of games to play, wifi was working perfectly and all the appliances were all modern. Also lots of room but cozy at the same time. The fireplace was very nice. There were a couple of things that concerned me which was that the place didn't have blinds or drapes on most of the windows in common places. I didn't know it was done purposely, but we just didn't bother to ask since it was just a short trip. And the trash that had to be brought to the landfill. The lake was frozen and just majestic against the colorful background. We enjoyed hiking, the fire pit and a few friendly games of scrabble. We would rent again if there is availability.
