« I plan to stay here again. My wife and I take a drive every year to see the fall colors. My opinion, this is the only place to stay in Bemidji. Fact is, now I look to stay at Hilton Double Tree locations wherever we travel to. (stayed at one in Denver this past June. Would have stayed at one in Canada in Sep if I could have found one) I'm sold on the quality and service. The Bemidji staff are WONDERFUL. (great b-fast also) »

« We loved staying here. It was clean, a big room. Host was very responsive with questions. Would definitely stay here again! The room didn’t have the futon, host offered to bring air mattress or toddler mattress (for toddler) but we declined, since we all could fit on the king bed together. So it was no problem. Host messaged on second day and asked if we needed clean towels. Great host! Don’t forget to sign the guest book! »

« The host was awesome and extremely responsive. They have a gift shop right beside the motel / log cabin. This was convenient as there was times I was not able to make food on the grill and I was able to pick up a pizza or hot dog. I was also able to get ice cream when I was craving some which was awesome. I highly recommend Big timbers as it is a repeat spot that my family will go to each summer! »

« Upon our arrival we were drawn into the house located on a beautiful lot out in the country just outside of Bemidji. This modern clean cabin was exactly what we were hoping for. « This cabin is truly a gem. If you are looking for a cabin away from everyday life on the lake, then this is the spot for you. The outside brick oven didn’t appear to work, and it was hard to get the heated floors to work in the master bathroom, but overall it was a great vacation spot. The bedrooms were a little small and need new carpet but the kitchen, sunroom and vaulted ceilings in the living room were stunning. We even saw a deer each night come up to the backyard. « Wonderful property, close enough to all activities and far enough away from the city, neighborhood noise or you can make noise and not disturb anyone. Property owners respond to all messages quickly and efficiently. Home is comfortable,clean and fully stocked with everything a family needs and then some. Highly recommend this property and would definitely return. We stay in a lot of different vacation rentals and I would definitely put this in the top 10! Thank you for making our family vacation...

« We had a great stay at Pickerel Hideaway! Everything we needed plus more was included. Amy was accommodating and nearby if we needed anything. The fishing was great (for our catch & release crew) and many could be seen right off the dock. The swim areas and floating raft were great additions for everyone. The house was clean, organized, and large enough for our large group. »
