Rooms were really spacious with nice bathrooms with a soaking tub, a large bed, a nice (visual only) stone garden and even a small bamboo floor meditation/prayer room near the entrance. If you want to walk to many locations (Gion, Pontocho, even the Philosopher's Path) and be near both bus and metro lines, it is also convenient.
